A little prep goes a long way for smooth, beautiful results.

Let it grow — Aim for about ¼ inch of hair growth, or approximately 2–3 weeks without shaving.

Exfoliate beforehand — Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before your appointment.

Come clean & dry — Skip lotions, oils, and heavy products on the area the day of your wax.

Avoid sun exposure — No tanning or excessive sun 24–48 hours beforehand.

Pause active skincare — Retinol, acids, peels, and certain medications can make skin more sensitive. Let your provider know what you're currently using.

A little aftercare helps keep your skin smooth, calm, and happy.

Keep it clean — Avoid touching the freshly waxed area and keep skin clean for the first 24 hours.

Skip the heat — Avoid hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and very hot showers for 24–48 hours.

Give skin a break — Skip intense workouts, swimming, and activities that cause excessive sweating or friction for 24 hours.

Avoid sun exposure — Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive, so avoid tanning and direct sun for 24–48 hours and use SPF when appropriate.

Wait to exfoliate — Give your skin 48 hours to recover, then gently exfoliate regularly to help prevent ingrown hairs.
A little redness or sensitivity after waxing is completely normal and should settle shortly. Keep things gentle and let your skin do its thing.
